Roger earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronic Engineering from California State University-Chico, and began his career in the building design industry in 2006.  He gained valuable experience working at MEP and architecture firms before establishing Makishima Engineering, Inc. in 2018.  Roger has been blessed with opportunities to design projects throughout the US and Canada.

When not working at a computer, Roger enjoys being outdoors and volunteering.  He has a heart for helping others in his community as a first responder.
